I noticed the install documentation was just updated January 12th of 2020, this is a prime example of what I have brought in this topic before.
Note: I have mentioned the lack of up to date documentation and here we go
The first step in the new documentation says to do the following:
curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_8.x | bash -
the answer you get is: Deprecation warning Node.js 8.x LTS carbon is no longer actively supported
recommended is https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_10.x - Node.js 110 LTS “Dubnium” (recommented) I have no idea how this change will effect the rest of the install but will attempt it with the suggested link. I have tried to get this going for weeks now with no success using Ubuntu 18.04, R610 server with 96Gig of ram, 2 TB of storage
