Set SAFETY_ASSURED=1 to run this task in production

Following the guide for a new install (documentation/ at master · tootsuite/documentation · GitHub) and getting the error

Set SAFETY_ASSURED=1 to run this task in production

Error occured after running:

RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rails db:setup

Did I miss a step in the documentation? Never seen this error before.

What is the error leading up to the SAFETY_ASSURED message?

Hi @saper I used the command

echo “SAFETY_ASSURED=1” >> .env.production

and it seems to have worked but now running into problems loading the main page

This page is not correct
We’re sorry, but something went wrong on our end.

What are the steps I can take to troubleshoot the cause of this?

That’s not good. Can you post a full log of your rails db:setup command?

@pierre It sounds like maybe you ran into the issue here: Missing part of Production-guide · Issue #512 · tootsuite/documentation · GitHub

The Update on my comment shows what I did to get around it. I used SAFETY_ASSURED as a command line variable.
