Hello, I’ve been using Mastodon for some months (I’m @Oct326@mstdn.io). I made some string translation on Weblate, and I’m willing to translate Mastodon User’s Guide in Italian (I mean the “User-guide.md” file in the documentation repository). Is that OK?
Ciao! Of course it’s a good idea. You might want to prepare https://github.com/tootsuite/documentation/blob/master/Using-Mastodon/User-guide_IT.md similar to the existing French or Hungarian ones.
You can use git to do the editing or “Create new file” directly on GitHub.
If you need help with this, just let us know!
Thank you. I’ve created a new file containing the translation and sent a pull request. I hope that what I did is ok, because I never used Git or GitHub before.
Hi, I’m aware that there are many more important things, but I wonder if/when my translation will be committed (it’s this pull request: Create User-guide_IT.md by Oct326 · Pull Request #668 · tootsuite/documentation · GitHub). I hope that my work was not useless. Thank you.
