Help with local install

So I followed the instructions from Installing from source - Mastodon documentation. I am having an issue getting Mastodon to work. I am setting this up on my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS server. I have a Nginx Reverse Proxy Manager running on my Synology server to handle my certs and reverse proxies. I can access the nginx page with the server’s IP address but nothing with Mastodon. I have look at my nginx logs and nothing is showing me what’s going on. Any help would be appreciated.

I would also like to know how to test this locally. It looks like I should be able to access the site with the Ubuntu IP address with port 3000. If I use just the IP, I can see Nginx welcome page.

Have no clue but it is now working. Not sure what fixed it but it works.
