We were hit with a big batch of spam/bot sign ups. I know there must be an easy way to batch suspend and remove these accounts, but I can’t find it in the admin interface. Similarly searching in the github and discourse don’t give me any results for how to batch suspend and remove.
I’m sure I’m overlooking something totally obvious and I’ll feel really dumb when someone points it out, but I’d really appreciate the help! Thanks!
Hey, same problem here.
On the instance where I am admin, several hundred new spam accounts have registered over a short time. We have switched off the open registration and want to delete the new, inactive accounts. I can identify the accounts quite well, because they all have almost the same IP. But I can’t find any way to perform a batch deletion.
Is there no way to do this in the web interface? Otherwise I can imagine that the moderator/admin work would be easier with such an Interface.
Any method of potentially having a community shared ip blacklist for mass spam bots filtering or a more advanced account setup challenge for these that would then hold them for mass review or reject?
