Is there any precedent for anyone setting up a Mastodon server on previously-existing GoDaddy hosting? I know this seems like a silly question, but I can’t seem to find any answers. If there is, is there any sort of procedure I could follow? GoDaddy is kind of awful to navigate and figure out, and thus far from what I’ve seen of the documentation on Mastodon, it tends to assume a lot of the user, not a lick of which is useful. So, hence why I’m asking.
As far as I am aware GoDaddy only provides hosting for PHP and HTML websites, right? Therefore it is not possible to host a more complex application such as Mastodon on it.
