Delay in statuses appearing

I have an instance I’ve just set up using docker. Whenever I post a status on my instance or someone replies to me, I can instantly see it in the timeline from another instance but from my instance, there’s a delay of anywhere between 2 and 20 seconds.

Seems like there’s some sort of 30 second refresh?

Maybe another instance has a backlog in sending out toots?

I can assure you this isn’t the issue.

Toots are immediately visible from another instance after posting. Multiple toots load each time toots appear on my instance if there are multiple available.
